ANNOUNCEMENTS [ * = new item]
- * Missions Giving Update: As we finished out our missions fiscal year this last week, our church met its 2007-2008 Missions Fund goal, raising $98,138.16 for the year (103% of goal), helping meet our pledges to our missionaries and organizations. $14,252.41 was also raised for the Short Term Missions fund (95% of goal), to assist with some of the expenses of STM trips. Additionally, $3,811.06 was previously given in C&MA special offerings. All in all, our church gave $116,201.63 towards missions this last fiscal year. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness through His people!
- * Next Sunday’s worship will be held 10:30am at Wheaton College Edman Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Wong, WCAC founding pastor, will give the sermon. There won’t be any children’s program or baby sitting.
- *Please sign up(deadline: today) for 30th Anniversary Banquet (4/12) in the lobby so that we can plan for the event. About 240 people have signed up so far. Banquet location: Coray Alumn Event Rm, Todd M. Beamer Student Center, Wheaton College. The dinner starts at 5:00pm and no children program or baby sitting available that evening.

- *There are two Lost and Found pins full of lost items for you to retrieve in the basement.
- * If you would like to donate new toys or used toys in good condition to the church nursery, please feel free to bring them in during the month of April. Please put them in the box on top of the counter in the nursery. Be aware that these should be toys that are safe for children below the age of 3 years.
- *If you are interested in protecting marriage in Illinois, please sign the petition in the lobby. Deadline: today. ( M ust be an Illinois registered voter.)

ENGLISH MINISTRIES

YOUTH MINISTRIES
- April 12, 2008 - No Youth Group at church. The youth group will join the church's celebration at Wheaton College for the 30th anniversary. Please talk to Pastor Ben with any questions about the night.
- April 19, 2008 - Bible Discussion Group - Please join us as we look into God's Word. The Sr High will be looking at the spiritual disciple of sacrifice while the Jr High will be a study on Leonhard Euler, a Swiss mathematician and physicist who loved God.
MANDARIN MINISTRIES
- *Welcome to last week’s new comers: Mr. and Mrs. Li-feng Wang!
- *Thank God for leading us these past 30 years. Let’s encourage and challenge one another to please the Lord.
- *The April combined adult Sunday school will finish up “The History of the Bible” taught by Zhi-qiu Lee.
- *Starting from April Steve Huang will be in charge of Mandarin small group ministry. May the Lord bless each group through Steve’s service.
- *April 11 (8:00pm) Mandarin prayer meeting at Millie Chu’s. Please come to support Mandarin ministry through prayers.
- *April 8 (9:30am) Women’s fellowship at Rose Chang’s. Please join us.
- *We need four Christians to do follow-up work with the newly baptized brothers and sisters once a week for three months. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Lee.
- Please pray for potential 2009 new Mandarin Elder and ministry board candidates. Pray that the Lord’s will be done.
- God will bless a church that has a vision for building both its software and hardware. While facing the future development of WCAC, we must plan and promote the ministry of church planting. This is a vision that needs serious consideration. May the Lord bless us with His special grace.
CANTONESE MINISTRIES
