ANNOUNCEMENTS [ * = new item]

• *Wish all the mothers joy and peace in the Lord! May God bless mothers!
• * 30th Anniversary DVD is ready for purchase , t hanks to Benson's effort s . Each set has one piece for the banquet and the other for the Combined Service , $2 each . Please make your checks payable to WCAC .
• *Tea Time service between 9:30am and 11:00am worship services needs your help. You can either call Roger Wu or sign up directly on the sign-up sheet posted on the kitchen door.
• This year’s VBS will take place on the week of June 16-20.

YOUTH MINISTRIES 

• May 17 - Discussion Group Bible Study. Please join us as we will study God's Word and also people God has used throughout history. The Sr High will study the Hudson Taylor and the Jr High will be looking at Ravi Zacharias.
• Parent Seminar Handouts are available for download from the youth group webpage.

MANDARIN MINISTRIES

• * We welcome last Sunday’s new comers: Ping Liu ， Janet Kim ， Helen Kim ， Erh Hong Chen.
• The new Adult Sunday school (May to July) will have three classes: Seekers’ Class by Mrs. Lee and Anne Wong, The Gospel of Mathew by Shyae-Cheng & Foley, and Minor prophets of the Old Testament by Pastor Lee and Cheng-Sung. We encourage everybody to attend Sunday school to get equipped and blessed by the grace of God.
• *The following brothers and sisters got perfect attendance for Jan to April’s Adult Sunday School—Foley & Lichu Chang, Hai-qing Wang, Cheng-wu Han, CC & Helen Mo, Hsien & Su-po Yu, Steve & Terri Huang, and Adeline Liu.
• Starting from July, we will have membership classes on the first Sunday after the worship for three consecutive Sundays. Please sign up with Pastor Lee if you are interested.
• Please pray fervently for Steve Huang’s surgery, Yea-Shin Twu’s continued treatment, and Felicia Liu’s mother is improving but still needs your prayers.
• *Please pray for our missionaries Dan and Grace Hurd who have been serving in Taiwan for the past 20 years. They will return for Sabbatical May 21 and have the opportunity to meet with us. The Morning Star Fellowship has adopted them as prayer partners.

CANTONESE MINISTRIES

• * We welcome last Sunday’s new comers Zhi-long Chen, Pastor and Mrs. Leung, and Zhi-hua Fang.
• *May’s Fast-and-Prayer meeting will be Friday, May 23 at 8:00pm at Youth Room. Please consider joining us to watch over God’s home.
• *Chak Lau is teaching How to Lead Small Group Bible Study to equip the believers: 6/1, 6/8, 6/15. Please come for classes.
• *Thank God that Jenny made her decision to follow Christ on April 27 th during personal evangelizing. May the Lord help her understand clearly the truth of the gospel.
• Please pray for Pastor Ma’s new sermon series on Philippians. Please preview God’s word before the sermon.
• Chee-Chiew Lee will be teaching June to August Adult Sunday School on the book of Song of Solomon. Please join to get equipped.
• *Louis and Jean Yee’s son, Douglas, is getting married May 24 th. May the Lord bless this new family to glorify His name.
• Aldersgate Methodist church parking lot is too small for our congregation lately. Please consider using the office parking lot near WCAC or Wheaten Park District parking lot.
