弟兄姐妹们，如果不是耶稣，不是耶稣基督的福音，可能我今天就不会在这里见到你们和善亲切的笑容，同你们一样面对我们的主耶稣开开心心、快快乐乐。
为什么这么说呢？今年 8 月 30 日，我在国内诊断出患了脑膜瘤。几天以后的凌晨 4 点多钟，脑膜瘤压迫神经引发了癫痫病，我太太在危急中打了急救电话，并联系了亲戚将我送到成都第二医院得到了及时的救治。在这家医院住了 10 多天，病情加重，而医生还说可以出院了。瞬间，我想到这家医院旁边就有一座基督教堂（上世纪三十年代美国人建的），仿佛身边的教堂传来了弟兄姐妹的祷告，传来了耶稣基督的福音。当时，我在床上翻身都困难的情况下，决定转华西医院。恰好当时华西医院与我病情对口的科室有一張病床（华西医院的病床是很紧俏的），但是要转到华西区也是一大难题。二医院在市中心，该医院的救护车不能出三环路，靠我太太的能力是无法将我转院的。还好，原本前一天要来医院看我的侄女侄女婿当天来了，神这样巧妙的安排，才有了转院的条件。转到华西医院，八天我就可以下床了（二院的主管医生原说要半月到一个月才能下床）。
经过家里商量，我们决定尽快返美。虽然大多数医生说这种病长途飞行风险很大，但我们在不断祷告中还是选择尽快返美。返美途中尽管有担忧，但在祷告中，一路都很顺利，而且 15 个小时在海拔万米的高空中我的精神都特别好，在机上行走也很顺当。我坚信，这是神给我的力量！这段经历从时间上来说虽然并不长，但我切身感受到了神的伟大，也给了我更深刻的启迪：把自己交给神，信赖耶稣，坚信耶稣，依靠耶稣，是我人生最好的选择。
十多年前，我就参加了惠顿教会的活动，跟弟兄姐妹一起学习圣经。十多年来我心里一直想着耶稣，常常念着耶稣。在此，我感恩主为我的罪所付上的代价，就是为我的罪死在十字架上，第三天从死里复活，赦免了我一切的罪，并且赐给我永生。感谢主耶稣，让我接受这个洗礼，让我增强信心，开始新的生命。

亲爱的弟兄姐妹们，大家好!
十多年前，因神的指引，我来到了惠顿教会，参加小组的圣经学习、祷告、接受福音、一步步的接近神、了解神、信奉神。 每当我有困惑、遇到自己无法解决的问题，我也会向神祷告、求助，也感受到到神的美意和神的恩典。
最近，从我先生患病的的短短经历中，我再次切身感受到神的力量--在人不能，在神一切都能。 当我遭遇困境、不知如何进退、不知未来的时候，我感觉我能做的就是把一切交给神，接受神的安排。同时，我也感受到自己从不知所措和惶恐不安中慢慢平静平和下来，因为有神的恩典，相信神会给我们做了最好的安排。从圣经学习中，我懂得我们人一生下来就有罪，生老病死都源于人的罪。是主耶稣，牺牲自己，赦免我们人的罪，医治我们的疾病。不管我们遇到多大的困难，不管我们有多难以医治的病，我都愿意信靠耶稣，相信神可以打破一切诅咒，战胜魔鬼一切的诡计，带领我走进他的天国。
今天，我感谢神的恩典，能让我分享见证，给我这个机会受洗，坚固我的信靠，激励我的信心，让我开始新的生命。

大家好，我是一名交易公司的经理和量化交易员。从我懂事开始，家里就一直是信佛的，然而家里面的情况其实一直不是很好，祖母很早就去世了。后来，外婆信了基督教，传福音给我母亲，让我们家也成为了主耶稣基督的信徒，我一直在母亲的影响下，带带拉拉去了很多次教会，每次都从牧师和长老的话语中，得到了很多做人的启示。
但是就在我 2007 年出国之后三个月，我的父亲就被一场严重的交通事故带走了 40%的脑神经，从此成为陌生人，完全不会说话，也不认识我和我的母亲。由于我在国外读书，母亲怕影响我的学业，时隔一年才让我知道，她已经一个人照顾我的父亲一年有余，我当时很迷茫，也很无助，因为毕竟父亲是支撑家里的支柱。但是母亲对我说，我们是信主的家庭，我们有其他家庭没有的福分，因为母亲告诉我，主耶稣说过，信他就必得救。正是因为母亲的这份信仰和执着，她一个人撑过了最难熬的 5 年，让我顺利完成了博士学业，并找到了一份工作，我的太太也是在这个时候，嫁给了我。
我觉得，人的一生有很多取舍，我的母亲在逆境之中，仍然选择相信上帝，相信主耶稣，而且并没有因为16 年对我父亲的照顾，就延误了去事奉主耶稣。每当我遇到困难时，其实我的心里也总想起母亲，想起母亲所信仰的上帝，我觉得上帝是奇妙的，因为无论多难，他都会给予信靠他的人希望和果实。所以，我也决志要来信靠这位奇妙信实的上帝，信靠上帝所赐给我的救主耶稣基督，愿上帝赦免我一切的罪，让我能够因着他丰盛的慈爱和恩典，成为一个重生得救的人，成为他的孩子，成为耶稣基督的门徒，我愿意借着今天的洗礼，成为跟母亲一样的人，归入到上帝的名下，成为耶稣基督在我生命中的见证，我信主耶稣，谢谢。

If it weren't for Jesus and the gospel of Jesus Christ, I might not be here today to see your kind and friendly smiles and face our Lord Jesus as joyfully as you do.
Why do I say that? On August 30th this year, I was diagnosed with meningioma in China. At around 4 o'clock in the morning a few days later, I had a seizure caused by compressed nerves. My wife made an emergency call and contacted relatives to send me to Chengdu No. 2 Hospital where I got timely treatment. After staying in this hospital for more than 10 days, the doctor said I could be discharged even though my condition worsened. There is a Christian church built by Americans in the 1930s next to this hospital. I seemed to hear the prayers of brothers and sisters and the gospel message of Jesus Christ. I made the decision to transfer to Huaxi Hospital where a bed is ready for me even though normally their hospital beds are in short supply. But since Chengdu No. 2 Hospital is situated in the center of the city, its ambulance is not allowed to go out of the Third Ring roads, we had to figure out a way to go to Huaxi Hospital, which my wife was not capable of. Fortunately, my niece and her husband, who came to the hospital to visit me, helped me overcome the obstacle. God’s ingenious arrangement allowed me to be transferred to Huaxi Hospital, and I was able to get out of bed in eight days instead of half a month to a month predicted by the doctor in the precious hospital.
After a family discussion, we decided to return to the US as soon as possible and continue to pray although most doctors warned that such a long-distance flight was very risky. Though worried on the flight back, I kept praying and everything went smoothly. I was in great spirits during my 15-hour flight at an altitude of over 10,000 meters and walked steadily on the plane. I firmly believe that my strength came from God! This personal experience shows me how great our God is and makes me determined to surrender myself to God, trust Jesus, firmly believe in, and depend on Him. This is the best choice I’ve made in my life.
I attended WCAC and Bible studies more than 10 years ago and have been thinking and meditating on Jesus all these years. I thank the Lord Jesus for paying the price for my sins by dying on the cross and rising again three days later. He has forgiven all my sins and given me eternal life. I am so thankful for the Lord Jesus for today’s baptism to grow my faith and live a new life in Him.

Hi, brothers and sisters,
God led me to WCAC more than 10 years ago. I participated in Bible studies and prayers getting to know God step by step. When encountering bewilderment or problems I couldn’t solve, I would pray to God for help and receive His guidance and blessings.
Going through my husband sickness recently, I experienced firsthand that all things are possible with God but not with man. In my predicament, not knowing what the future held, I gave everything to God willing to accept His will for us. After surrendering to God, I felt peace in my heart, no longer overwhelmed or frightened, knowing that God would grant us grace and best arrangements.
I learned from Bible studies that we are all born sinful, and the price of sins is death. It is the Lord Jesus who sacrificed himself to forgive our sins and heal our diseases. No matter how big our obstacles or how tough our diseases are, I am willing to trust Jesus and believe God will break all curses, defeat all the devil’s tricks, and lead me to His kingdom.
Today by God’s grace, I’m given this opportunity to testify and to be baptized. It will strengthen my faith and trust in the Lord Jesus and begin a new life in Him.

Hello everyone, I am Jackie Jia, a manager and quantitative trader of a trading company. My family used to believe in Buddhism but had not done well. My paternal grandma passed away early in my life, but my maternal grandma came to faith in Christ and preached the gospel to my mother and our whole family in turn became believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. I had gone to church with my mother and from God’s word, I learned many valuable lessons of life.
In 2007, just three months after I went abroad, my father got involved in a serious traffic accident, lost 40% of his brain nerves, and became a stranger unable to speak, nor recognize me or my mother. For fear of affecting my studies abroad, my mother didn’t tell me about my father’s accident until a year later. I felt helpless because my father was the pillar of our family, but my mother assured me that we are a family that believes in the Lord, a blessing that other unbelieving families do not have. Mother told me that the Lord Jesus says whoever believes in Him will be saved. It was precisely because of my mother's persistent faith that she survived the most difficult five years of taking care of my dad and helping me successfully complete my doctoral studies, find a job, and get married.
We have many choices to make in life and my mother chose to depend on God even in the face of adversity and kept serving the Lord while taking care of my father. When I encounter difficulties, I always think of my mother and the God my mother believes in. God is wonderful because no matter how difficult it is, He always gives hope and blessings to those who believe in Him. Therefore, I am determined to believe in this wonderful and faithful God, and in Jesus Christ, the Savior God sent. May God, in His abundant love and grace, forgive all my sins and make me a newborn person, a child of God, and a disciple of Christ. I will get baptized today to become a person like my mother and a witness of Jesus Christ with my life. I believe in the Lord Jesus! Thank you.
